Radermachera sinica, as known as China Doll Plant, is a popular ornamental houseplant that is prized for its lush, glossy foliage. Native to the subtropical mountain regions of southern China and Taiwan, this plant has become a favorite among indoor plant enthusiasts for its elegant appearance and relatively compact growth.

The China Doll Plant has finely divided, fern-like leaves that are dark green and glossy. The foliage is dense and delicate, giving the plant a lush, almost feathery appearance.

It is a small to medium-sized tree that can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet) in the wild, but when grown indoors, it typically stays much smaller, usually around 1-2 meters (3-6 feet) tall. It has a bushy, upright growth habit. The stems are relatively slender and can become woody as the plant matures.

The China Doll Plant is sensitive to changes in its environment. It may drop leaves if exposed to drafts, overwatering, underwatering, or if moved to a new location. Consistency in care is key to preventing leaf drop.

Cultivation:
- Soil: Prefers well-draining potting soil. A mix that includes peat, perlite, and pine bark is suitable.
- Watering: Needs regular watering to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
- Sunlight: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light can cause the plant to become leggy.
