Senegalia burkei

Senegalia burkei is a striking and resilient tree native to southern Africa. It is appreciated for its impressive height, attractive foliage, and ecological importance.

These pods are an important food source for wildlife.

Senegalia burkei can grow to a substantial height, typically reaching 5-15 meters (16-50 feet), but it can occasionally grow taller under ideal conditions.

This tree is commonly found in savannas, woodlands, and grasslands, often on sandy or rocky soils. It is adapted to dry environments and can tolerate periods of drought.
